History of Dikli Palace

History of Dikli Palace – Historic records of Dikļi Palace are traced in the deep past. Although Dikļi manor is mentioned in the annals of time as early as the 15th century, its current neo-baroque building was built in 1896 under the supervision of its owner at the time, Baron Paul von Wolf. A 2003 renovation gave the manor its present-day look and elegance, while respecting all the antique attributes – from the basement to the attic. Part of the palace ensemble is a barn that is older than the palace itself and was built with a majestic perspective at the end of the 18th century. It is still possible to discover the ancient charm of the palace and explore its secrets, along with a myriad of historical treasures that have been preserved thanks to the care of its owner. It comes as no surprise then that Dikļi Palace has been selected as an architectural landmark of national significance.
